In fact, we’re proud to say our products grace the shelves of an incredible 94% of Canadian householdsWith a 140-year legacy driven by innovation and unwavering quality, we’re seeking like-minded individuals to join us in shaping our next chapter.About the opportunity:The Load Out Coordinator assists in balancing the demand of inbound, outbound, put away and replenishment of product at the distribution facility. Plans outbound and inbound loads, working with the shift supervisor to assign pick tickets according to priority.The attributes we are looking for:“just in time” loads by reviewing the weekly supply chain plans and prioritizing work that comes in. Monitors open deliveries, creates and builds shipments in SAP.in balancing the volume demand and labour requirement of various warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, put away and replenishments. Reviews weekly requirements and plans work in advance to accommodate peaks times.orders in SAP, reconcile information errors, ensure orders are invoiced accurately and efficiently.inventory fill rates and customer demand, identifying any gaps for correction to ensure proper staffing and transportation requirements are aligned to demand in order to reduce fill rate penalties and late deliveries.shipping supply inventories to ensure the efficiency of load planning (BOL, manifests, etc.). Liaise and coordinate third party carriers for seamless pickup schedules.open deliveries in SAP regularly to ensure system and inventory accuracy in order to meet customer demands.file, and maintain accurate records on all documentation for incoming, and outgoing materials to ensure accurate inventory management.a safe work environment in accordance with the company Health and Safety Policy and the OHSA through safety observations & JHSC inspections to maintain employee safety.all warehouse initiatives in coordination with the site leadership team.Build strong rapport with drivers, actively participate on projects, identify gaps and areas for improvement and recommend solutions.What you will bring:Secondary education in related field or comparable business experience(2) years of experience in warehouse or transport operations managementinitiative and decision-making skills to identify and solve problems in a timely and effective mannercommunication skills both written and verballeadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to development and continuous improvementwith standard programs including; Microsoft office, WMS and SAP softwareWhat Lactalis will offer:Lactalis Canada believes in rewarding its people with the following package for contract employees:A Competitive Base SalaryA Retention Bonus of 5% to be paid out at the end of the contract8% vacation payHealth & Dental Benefits starting day 1Learning and Development opportunitiesPotential for future full time permanent opportunitiesOur ESG commitment: Our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) roadmap drives our sustainability mission.
