A Brief Overview
The Information Technology Services department is looking for an IT Security Architect/Engineer to join the team of security professionals responsible for designing, building, configuring, testing, and deploying security technologies to achieve a highly resilient digital environment. The Architect/Engineer will work closely with the Senior Security Architect and other technical subject matter experts on a multi-year cybersecurity program to develop and enhance the security capabilities of the university. The successful candidate will be able utilize their technical acumen and problem-solving skills across projects in areas such as Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management, and Endpoint Management.

This position identifies, designs, tests, recommends and installs new and emerging security technologies. This position acts as the subject matter expert in diagnosing and resolving complex information technology security problems. This position also leads the implementation, verification, and acceptance testing of new security technologies, provides project status reports, and translates requirements into detailed design and technical specifications documents. #J-18808-Ljbffr
