Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US.We are currently looking for a Network Architect for our client, a global leader in the IT infrastructure consulting and management industry.Role(s) Required: Network ArchitectLocation: Remote , Toronto,ONEmployment Type: 6 months to start but this is a indefinite, longterm contractRequired Start Date: ASAPTotal Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/weekRate/Salary: $100 /hr - some flexibility on final ratebased on overall experienceSummaryAs a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure that our network is secure, reliable, and meets the needs of our clients business.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement network architecture for our company, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networksCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into network solutionsDevelop and maintain network security policies and procedures to protect our company's data and systemsMonitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that ariseEvaluate new technologies and make recommendations for network improvementsCreate and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and policiesManage network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancersStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in network architecture and securityTrain and mentor junior network engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructureQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 10 years of experience as a Network Architect or a similar roleStrong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMPExperience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systemsProficient in network design and troubleshootingFamiliarity with network monitoring toolsHigh level of expertise with the below technologyNetworkAWS NETWORK CONSTRUCT: Transit Gateway, VPC, DirectConnect, Gateway Load-Balancer, Internet Gateway, EC2F5 LTM/GTMCisco SD-Access (multiple campus)ISE (PSN, PxGrid)Catalyst CenterFPR2000FPR3000FPR4000CheckpointFirewall Cisco (ASA & FTD)Routing/switching CiscoMeraki (MX, MS & MR)F5AWSBGP, EIGRP, VXLAN, VPNExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyIndustry certifications, such as CCNP or CCIE, are a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
