And in a recent survey, 89% of Long View team members rated Long View as a good or great place to workAre you passionate about technology and determined to put cyber hackers out of business?We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Security Solution Architect for our Vancouver branch In this consulting and leadership role, you will design, architect and implement solutions within the Long View security portfolio.A Day in the LifeIdentify client requirements through your strong business and technical consulting skills and implement innovative and highly differentiated solutionsDesign, architect, and implement proven solutions that will solve business challenges in the fields of business continuity, IT resilience, and IT risk managementGenerate detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, and transition to operations’ needsWork as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation to successful implementationAssist with pre-sales engagements and qualification of sales opportunitiesWork with Long View business units and practices to ensure security opportunities progress efficiently and in a timely fashion towards successful closureWhat You BringOver 10+ years of experience in the field of IT security and managed security servicesExperience in operations, sales, pre-sales, architecture, advisory and management of IT security initiativesIntimate understanding of vulnerability analysis procedures and deliverablesFirst-hand experience with data breaches and escalation processes, both organizationally and legallyExtensive experience in rolling out network security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, two-factor authentication, Security Incident Management (SIM) solutions, vulnerability management, firewall migrations, BCM/DRPStrong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance including ISO 27001 ISMSAn understanding of the environment and challenges of IT operations in typical mid-market corporationExperience in building, positioning and delivering professional services at a solution providerAbility to work in complex environments with subject matter experts and other technical disciplinesKnowledge of toolsets appropriate for application and infrastructure assessments performance, security and capacity planningStrong leadership skills, strong sense of urgency and a creative mindsetWhat Makes You Extra AwesomeApplicable security certifications including CISSP, GCIH, and Security+.Technical Bachelor of Science degreeWhy Work at Long ViewInteresting work– Be part of exciting projects while accessing all the latest technologiesFlexible environment– A workplace that values the importance of flexibility for personal/professional growth, happiness and wellnessComprehensive benefits package from day oneGreat people and culture$122,360 - $160,598 a yearExpected Salary Range plus 15% variable earningsLearn more about Long ViewWant to learn more about our culture and life at Long View?
