Vestas – Wind Site Technician – Tiverton, ON Position Overview As a Wind Site Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines by performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues. Your work keeps local communities powered with clean, reliable energy. Experience in wind, electrical, mechanical, or heavy‑machinery fields is required. We offer a $3,300 CAD Sign‑On Bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair wind turbines with your team to keep communities powered. Adhere to safety protocols and perform safety inspections. Collaborate with your team to improve turbine performance and share best practices. Document your work and continuously improve operational processes. Accurately time‑code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration, progress, and operational efficiency. Who You Are At least 6 months with a Wind Technician certificate, 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields. Highly developed problem‑solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities. Safety‑conscious and committed to best practices. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Physically fit, comfortable working at heights, and able to work in various conditions. Ability to read, speak, and follow instructions in English. High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s licence, and legal authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship.
