Job Description The Risk Analyst – Airport will work on-site in Mississauga to help build one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger‑friendly airports in the world. You will manage risk‑related issues and insurance activities for the organization. Major Responsibilities Responsible for management of risks‑related issues and insurance activities of the organization. Manages risk-related issues including financial, reporting, IT security, Safety, Health and Environment, employee security, proposal/pursuit preliminary risk assessment/analysis and project execution topics. Relies on advanced knowledge, within the scope of the position, and often handles moderately complex tasks. May review work of other employees and resolve any identified issues unilaterally or with the assistance of a Manager. Advises and participates in the planning and development of strategy and policy related to discipline. Works under limited supervision or general direction. May carry out and provide reporting for special projects with limited supervision. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: University degree in project management, engineering, quantity surveying, or related field. 4 years of relevant experience in development and implementation of risk management practices on large construction projects/programs. Preferred Qualifications: 6‑8 years of professional experience in risk management practices for large construction projects/programs. Experience facilitating risk workshops and coordinating large stakeholder groups. Knowledge of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) techniques and tools. Experience using Enterprise Risk Management tools such as Active Risk Manager (ARM). Experience delivering risk management activities and deliverables within a program/project lifecycle, including support of investment decisions and milestone‑based assurance reviews. Understanding of interfaces between risk management and other project management processes (cost, schedule, change, quality, reporting, commercial). Knowledge of traditional and alternative contracting strategies and associated risks. Experience working in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction advisory environment, specifically in public infrastructure or industrial projects. Effective verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Collaborative working style and ability to influence stakeholders in managing risks. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple consulting engagements. Membership of a professional body (e.g., AACE, PMI) is an asset.
