Job Details Work Term: Permanent Work Language: English Hours: 30 to 60 hours per week Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Asset Languages Mandarin Cantonese Tasks Professionalism in customer service Drive lighter, special purpose trucks Load and unload goods Pay and receive payments for goods Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Use maps and other trip planning aids Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 5 / 5F / G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) DZ class license Driver's License (Class 3 or D) Documentation knowledge Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Type of trucking and equipment Refrigerated Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles) Communication systems experience Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment Transportation / travel experience Local Provincial / territorial Regional Security and safety Driver's validity licence check Driving record check (abstract) Transportation / travel information Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Weight handling Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Own tools / equipment Cellular phone Personal suitability Efficient interpersonal skills FlexibilityReliability Team player Hardworking Client focus Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
