Join our Ontario Technology Team as an IT Infrastructure Consultant Are you ready to shape the backbone of cutting‑edge technology projects? We’re looking for a dynamic IT Infrastructure Consultant to lead large‑scale security design initiatives across the region. Responsibilities IT infrastructure consulting in areas such as IT cabling infrastructure, network and technology systems design and contract administration. Physical IT infrastructure audits and assessments. Managing projects from concept design to construction documents, tender review, construction administration and project close‑out. Stakeholder engagement and running requirements workshops with clients. Developing client‑focused solutions across a varied mix of IT infrastructure technologies. Advising clients as a subject‑matter expert and representing WSP in the IT infrastructure field. Developing professional, client‑facing documents (specifications, reports, drawings) using MS Word, Excel, Visio, Bluebeam Studio, Adobe Acrobat, etc. Interpreting and reviewing technical drawings created with Revit, AutoCAD and similar tools. Participating in technical and project meetings with management, end‑users and technical personnel. Mentoring less experienced team members in CAD/Revit deliverables. Working individually or collaboratively with the Building Technologies team and other disciplines. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ experience in an IT infrastructure consultancy. Familiarity with alternate delivery models (Alliance, DBFM, Design‑Build, etc.) is an asset. Experience in active networking preferred. Demonstrable experience managing large IT projects. Commercial acumen essential. Proficiency in delivering presentations. Flexible approach to the working environment. Ability to obtain a Public Works and Government Services Canada Level 2 security clearance and work in a secure environment. Willingness to work normal hours Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm, with possible overtime, evenings and weekends. Willingness to report to a home office three days per week. Willingness to travel periodically for project assignments. Valid driver’s licence and vehicle for client site travel. About WSP WSP is one of the world’s leading professional services firms.
