What you'll be doing

- Lead and manage a team of big data analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that address complex business challenges and opportunities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into actionable data strategies and analytics projects.

- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making by promoting best practices, tools, and methodologies for data analysis and interpretation.

- Monitor and report on the performance and effectiveness of data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPIs.

- Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to drive business innovation and competitive advantage.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in big data and analytics, recommending new tools and approaches to enhance data capabilities.

How you'll succeed

  • - Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals in a data-centric environment.

    - Deep understanding of big data technologies, platforms, and tools, such as Hadoop, Azure and Spark, and SQL.

    - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on deriving insights from complex data sets.

    - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    - Proven track record in managing and delivering big data projects on time and within budget.

    - Ability to navigate and adapt to a rapidly changing data landscape, driving innovation and continuous improvement.

Who you are

  • - Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in big data analysis, data engineering, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

    - Proficiency in big data tools and technologies, as well as data visualization and reporting tools.

    - Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.

    - Experience in working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Azure.

    - Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams to drive data-driven decision-making.

    - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of big data and analytics.
