Job Title Merchandising Administrator Company Btrust Supermarket Location Oakville, ON Job Types Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.00 per hour Overview As a Merchandising Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data entry processes within the Merchandising department. You will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining various types of data into computer systems and databases. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential for success in this role. Major Responsibilities Input and update records in computer systems and databases to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and correct errors as needed to maintain data integrity. Verify data by comparing it with source documents or other data sets. Maintain detailed documentation of data entry procedures, standards, and protocols. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient data entry processes. Ensure compliance with data protection policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to streamline data entry processes and improve efficiency. Rotate to different store locations as needed based on scheduling requirements to handle data-related tasks. Perform related tasks as required by supervisor and manager. Skills and Qualification Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in computer science or related field is a plus. Proven experience in data entry or a similar role, preferably in an IT or technical environment. Proficiency in typing and data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with data entry software, databases, and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel). Basic understanding of IT systems, terminology, and concepts. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security. Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin or Cantonese for both written and spoken communication.
