Impact The Technical Accounting Manager provides leadership and oversight for technical accounting guidance, serving as the subject matter expert in accounting standards. This role supports cross‑functional projects and teams, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting. What The Role Offers Leadership and oversight for technical accounting guidance and support to stakeholders. Focus on complex, material and unique accounting issues; guidance on business partners. Preparation and presentation of formal papers and memoranda on complex accounting topics. Subject‑matter expertise in technical accounting. Presentation to Senior Management as needed. Leadership in monthly and quarterly internal reporting packages. Analytical review of period‑end financial results and detailed narrative. Review of account reconciliations and promotion of best practices. Ownership of specific month‑end/quarter‑end close activities. Liaison with external auditors during annual audit and quarterly reviews. Custom report development and internal reporting using SAP, BPC BW, and Blackline. Lead global finance projects: System automation and process improvements. Acquisition integration activities. Internal reporting development. What You Need To Succeed 4 to 5 years of finance and accounting experience within software or high‑tech industries. Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or equivalent. CPA designation (or equivalent) required. Prior “Big 4” firm experience. Strong collaboration and organizational skills. Detail oriented with an analytical mindset. Self‑motivated with a strong desire to take initiative and learn. Capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment. Leadership and management skills to motivate team units and cross‑functional teams. Effective written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Experience leading transformational change, risk management, and assessment initiatives. Knowledge of project management principles and practices. U.S. GAAP experience preferred. Experience with SAP and Blackline preferred. Compensation Salary Range: $115,000 – $147,090/annum. Actual salary may vary based on education, experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
