Your Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists to provide healthcare as a Nurse Practitioner in the vibrant rural community of Coronation, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing primary care to residents as the Most Responsible Practitioner (MRP) in the Coronation Type A Continuing Care home which includes 23 Type A beds. Description As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will provide a full range of comprehensive health services to individuals across their lifespan. You will be responsible for integrating clinical skills associated with nursing and medicine to assess, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatment, and perform procedures to manage and meet the health needs of patients. Additionally, you will utilize advanced practice nursing competencies related to Clinical Practice, Leadership and Optimizing Health Systems, Education, and Research to increase care quality, promote appropriate use of health services, and inform and influence healthcare systems. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure.
