We hope you’ll join us About the Role We are seeking a Manager, Health and Safety to ensure our organization remains fully compliant with health and safety regulations and internal standards. This role is critical in maintaining a safe work environment across all sites and fostering a strong culture of compliance. What You’ll Do Ensure compliance with WorkSafe BC regulations, fire codes, and other applicable safety standards. Maintain and improve the company’s health and safety program to meet regulatory requirements. Oversee health and safety governance structures and committees across all workplaces. Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance and identify areas for improvement. Deliver training for health and safety committee members and supervisors. Lead MSI assessments and confirm appropriate control measures are in place. Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Collaborate with internal teams to address hazards and present compliance‑focused recommendations. Manage workplace injuries and support return‑to‑work programs. Ensure annual evaluations of health and safety programs are completed. Maintain consistent quality in first aid programs and emergency response plans. Track and analyze health and safety data and report findings to management. What We’re Looking For Willingness to work full‑time on‑site. 5+ years of experience as an OH&S Practitioner. Diploma or Certificate in OH&S. First Aid Certification. Strong knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations. Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
