Reporting to the Chief Commercial officer (CCO), the Vice President, Sales collaborates with the other members of the leadership team, to develop PixMob’s strategic business orientation. Accordingly, the Vice-President, Sales must propose, lead and deliver all sales strategies required to contribute to PixMob’s growth and strategic goals.

As Vice President, Sales, this person must build and lead a large international sales team to meet or exceed expected sales objectives. To be successful with this mission,  the Vice-President, Sales must demonstrate that he|she has the required international experience and demonstrated leadership to fulfill this great challenge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Builds an international sales team to support the strategic plan and the ensuing sales objectives.

Works in partnership with existing sales management team

Provides global insight to organize the sales team and sales territories.

Guides the commercial team with ownership and feedback-based leadership style that cultivates an engaged and sales force.

Drives the development of competencies within the team by determining individual objectives and performance management.

Ensures consistency between individual objectives, territory objectives, PixMob’s strategic orientation and company values.

Identifies critical and vulnerable positions within the team and takes appropriate action to mitigate risks for the sales force.

Ensures the team uses continuous improvement tools such as statistical controls, monitoring, regular customer business reviews, root cause analysis and team feedback.

Aligns the sales objectives with business strategy through active participation in strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting and territory resource planning.

Sets p eriodic sales goals and develops with the team, strategies to reach those targets.

Identifies where improvements can be made and proposes sales plans to adjust strategies.

Builds strong and collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to make sure that sales and operations are aligned.

Develops trusting relationships with customers and business partners.

Participates in key activities (tradeshows, etc.) to develop relationships networks

Monitors market trends and provides feedback and recommendations to CCO.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor's degree in marketing, administration, engineering or relevant field.

MBA or master degree is an asset.

More than 10 years of sales leadership experience, with a track record of exceeding financial targets.

A minimum of 5 years of international sales team management with sales teams of 12+ people.

A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in technology and|or entertainment.

Humble leadership focussed on unlock personal potential

Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders.

Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and partners.

Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities and requirements.

Strategic thinker that shows confidence and speed in execution.

Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Based in Montreal. Presence at the head office at least 2 days a week.

Available to travel

Native level proficiency in English (customer language) and working proficiency in French
