OverviewAdecco is currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Cash Applications Specialist- Accounts Receivable to support a leading finance team in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and analytical skills who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. You’ll play a key part in supporting the Order-to-Cash process, handling payment reconciliations, and assisting with reporting and audits.Pay rate: $22/hour.Location: Brampton, ONShifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (On-site)Job type: Temporary | Full-timeWhy you should applyHires fast, pays weekly.4% vacation pay paid out on each weekly pay cheque.Medical and dental benefits once qualified.Free training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilitiesAssist with various projects and initiatives within Cash ManagementComplete daily bank reconciliationsAct as primary contact for payment escalationsReconcile general ledger entries and remittancesAccurately apply incoming payments to open receivablesInvestigate and resolve unapplied payments and discrepanciesRun weekly and monthly unapplied cash reportsDeliver on established KPIs, metrics, and reconciliation filesPrepare remittance flat files from client portalsAssist in audit reviews and month-end closePerform other tasks as assigned by the managerRequirementsMust be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related disciplineMinimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar accounts receivable or finance support roleFamiliarity with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage time independentlyComfortable working under pressure and adapting to changeDependable and punctual with a collaborative attitudeApply now to this Cash Applications Specialist- Accounts Receivable job in Brampton, ON for immediate employment consideration.
