Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty and convenience services in your community, and keep the customer at the centre of everything you do.Why this role is important?SUMMARY:Maintain excellent customer service and checkout areaDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:CUSTOMER SERVICE:Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customersMaintains a neat and organized checkout areaGreets all customers and displays warm demeanorAccurately scans or enters product dataAccurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC OptimumAsks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transactionMERCHANDISING:Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goodsMerchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling, etc)LOSS PREVENTION:Ensures loss prevention Standards are followedControls cash, lottery, and stamp inventoryGENERAL:Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code GuidelinesComplies with all health and safety regulationsComplies with all store policies and proceduresEnsures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintainedPerform other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Planning, Judgement and Decision MakingBalance teamwork and efficiency in processing the customer orderOrganization and neatnessEfficiency in processing the customer orderEXPERIENCE:Strong computer and register skillsWell organized with the ability to record keepDetail orientedEach store has an Associate-Owner, so you will work for a local business owner while having the support of a national brand.
