If you believe you have what it takes, we want to meet youHealthcare Security Guards work in various healthcare settings. The role may be physically demanding due to the size of the building and requires flexibility to work day and overnight shifts.Job Skills / RequirementsWe are hiring casual Security Guards to work at hospitals in Brooks and surrounding areas. Some travel may be required.Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service and assistance, maintaining effective relationships with clients and patronsConduct proactive patrols to ensure safety, address policy breaches, and note concernsRespond to and investigate security alarms and emergencies promptly and professionallyDe-escalate crisis situations, support, and liaise with emergency personnel such as police, fire, and paramedicsExercise crowd control and manage trespassersWrite clear, detailed reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and daily reportsProvide first aid and medical response when requiredUse two-way radios and computer applications to communicate site activitiesHandle Lost & Found items and inquiriesJob Requirements:Ability to obtain a valid Alberta security licenseExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalStrong customer service skillsSharp observational skillsAbility to make quick decisions and remain calm in emergencies with minimal supervisionAbility to walk 18-20 km and stairsEducation Requirements:High School Diploma or GEDCertification Requirements:Valid Security License (required before first shift; assistance with licensing provided)Additional Information / BenefitsPaladin Security values diversity and is committed to an inclusive workplace.
