Project Technologist, IEQ

Project Technologist Indoor Environmental Quality Winnipeg, MB Pinchin Ltd. is currently looking for a dynamic and organized Project Technologist to join our Indoor Environmental Quality team. Responsibilities Complete assessments for mould, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances and other hazardous materials Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site-specific client concerns Perform inspections and evaluate building systems Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke and fire Assist clients following flood and loss emergencies to get buildings dried, cleaned or remediated and operational Collect a variety of air and bulk (mould, asbestos, lead, dust, bacteria, etc.) samples Interpret laboratory results Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and provide recommendations to address concerns Inspect abatement and restoration contractors undertaking mould, asbestos and other hazardous materials remediation work to document that the work has been properly completed Requirements College diploma in Construction or Architectural Technology, or Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent Post-graduate environmental management certificate or equivalent would be an asset 1-2 years of experience with IEQ work preferred Consulting industry experience preferred Experience with building construction or maintenance is an asset Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) Exceptional oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills High attention to detail Valid driver’s license, insurance and a personal vehicle required Availability to travel to clients’ sites Availability to work outside of core business hours (occasional evening and weekends) What’s In It For You Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
