Manager Control and Compliance

PurposeThe Manager – Control & Compliance oversees the internal control framework to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. The role focuses on identifying and mitigating risks, improving processes, and fostering a culture of integrity across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesReview business processes to identify and close control gaps.Assess internal controls across all departments and entities.Test and enhance control design and effectiveness.Support teams in implementing corrective actions.Maintain control documentation (policies, procedures, flowcharts).Develop KPIs to track control and compliance performance.Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal standards (SOX, GDPR, etc.).Assist internal and external audit processes.Stay informed on corporate policies, regulations, and best practices.Qualifications5+ years in internal/external audit (Big Four experience an asset).CPA or equivalent certification.Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.High integrity and ability to manage multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
