Location & Job Type North Vancouver Branch Job Type: Full Time Regular myWork Program: Office Salary Range $55,600.00 - $66,700.00 Background Screening Requirement Enhanced Criminal Record Check Credit Check Identity Verification Employment Verification References Job Purpose Financial Advisors (Member Advice Specialists) are sales and customer service superstars who bring our “How can we help you?” brand to life. They help members with everyday banking needs, sell Low‑Fee Mutual Funds, Term Deposits, RRSPs, and set up electronic services. Advisors also uncover opportunities for product and service sales and coordinate with teammates to best serve each member. Accountabilities Deliver positive customer experience through general retail banking. Engage customers in the “Where You Are At Money Chat” to help them save, grow, protect, and improve financial well‑being. Work as a high‑performing team member to ensure all checks and balances are completed around policies and regulatory requirements. Proactively and creatively offer helpful solutions and alternatives to customer inquiries. Achieve sales and referral targets in a needs‑based sales environment. Skills & Qualifications Comfortable helping customers with simple financial help and promoting products and services. Minimum three years of experience helping members in a bank or credit union, with proven lending and investment skills and ability to spot sales and referral opportunities. Post‑secondary education in finance, business administration, or related field. Certificate in Investment Funds in Canada is required. Strong relationship building and teamwork skills.
