If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.**Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am****Night shift premium****Job Summary:**As an Operations Supervisor for McKesson Distribution, you will use your leadership skills to drive a culture of excellence through execution of daily operational plans and strategies. You will lead by allocating resources, disseminating information to teammates, and ensuring compliance with key processes, all while achieving safety, quality, efficiency and financial KPI’s.In this dynamic, fast-paced role you will exercise strategic thinking, effective planning, and utilize your communication skills to motivate and inspire your team, driving a culture of excellence.Key Leadership competencies for this role include innovative and strategic mindset, the ability to collaborate and leverage appropriate resources, strong decision making and execution capabilities, demonstrated ability to exercise courage and resilience, and the commitment to develop self and others.**Specific Responsibilities:*** Exhibit the desired behaviors that support McKesson’s Culture of Excellence and iCare values* Promote and communicate the facility’s service vision emphasizing “patient first”* Through your authentic leadership you will influence, motivate and inspire your team to deliver their accountabilities:* Culture of excellence, health and safety requirements, quality and compliance programs, KPI targets and results* Find new and better ways to drive growth and profitability and build the capability, structure and culture required for innovation* Demonstrate your commitment to employee engagement by deploying effective empowerment, feedback, coaching and development strategies for team members* Exercise effective employee and labor relations strategies to manage Employee concerns and performance related issues* Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union* Coordinate and leverage internal/ external business partners and units to achieve McKesson’s vision of Customer First* Employee Lean Six Sigma methodology to optimize operational processes* Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance**Position Qualifications:*** Bachelor’s Degree an asset; Business/ Operations Management, Supply chain management or related field* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership role* Capitalize on people’s abilities – right people in right roles with the right responsibility* Take the time to mentor and develop staff, demonstrating the commitment to helping people succeed* Give honest feedback and respectfully challenge others* Make difficult (sometimes unpopular) decisions when required* Demonstrate passion aligned with McKesson’s corporate vision, leading with the employee in mind* Demonstrated ability to adapt communication skills to effectively influence different audiences* Actively seeks opportunities to build and maintain relationships both in and out of business unit* Proven ability to drive continuous improvement with fundamental understanding of change management* Labor Relations experience an asset* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure* Utilize Business Intelligence data to determine business decisions that deliver and exceed expected performance* Knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
