Oversees and coordinates Ministry of Health (MOH) audits related to MDR standards, protocols, practices and guidelines for MDR sites; works collaboratively with key partners & stakeholders in MDR Accreditation process by providing leadership, oversight and coordination support.In collaboration with MDR Site Management, is accountable for development of MDR practice standards, protocols, policies and quality change processes for MDR operations to ensure the sterility of all delivered instrumentation and supplies within Operating Rooms and all MDR service areas are consistent with Fraser Health’s approved Infection Control guidelines, QA standards and best-practice Medical Device Reprocessing standards. Ensures consistent clinical QA standards are maintained at all renovation and equipment upgrades at MDR sites across Fraser Health.Leads MDR accreditation and MOH Audit reviews by overseeing the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Coordinators and implementation of best practice QA standards and processes; acts as a key resource leader working in close collaboration with Infection Prevention and Control, Clinical Quality and Strategic Priorities, FH Accreditation Professionals and with FH Surgical Directors, MDR Managers and Director; acts as prime communication link with Infection Prevention and Control, Clinical Quality and related areas (i.e. Performance and Accreditation).ResponsibilitiesLeads and oversees the region-wide strategic implementation, integration and evaluation of MDR Quality Assurance standards, protocols, processes and change initiatives.
