OverviewJunior Project Planner at BBA Consultants. Under the supervision of a senior planner, your role will consist of preparing and monitoring schedules.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and update schedules for all project phases: engineering, procurement, logistics, construction and commissioningEnsure project planning, organization and monitoring using tools like Primavera P6Analyze the critical path, risks and opportunities, and prepare recommendations for the project or study managerProduce progress reports and performance indicatorsUpdate schedules, both weekly and monthlyPrepare reports and maintain ties with project management to plan activities and project schedulingMaintain all planning and progress reportsPropose solutions to project managers to correct identified gaps and adhere to schedulesExercise independent judgement in selecting, filing, compiling and analyzing data from various sourcesCarry out all other related tasks that could help deliver projectsQualificationsCollege diploma or university degreeAt least three years of relevant experience, ideally in the industrial or mining sectorsKnowledge of design and construction processesVery good knowledge of the MS Office Suite and Primavera P6Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other offices and/or clients in English-speaking regionsAdvanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other offices and/or clients in QuébecAsset: available to travelAsset: experience with EPCM projectsType of positionRegularAbout BBAFor over 45 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of engineering to serve our clients in the Energy and Natural Resources sector.
