Job title D365 CE/PP Business Applications Specialist - 70K - 95K – Hybrid 3 days in office – Ontario – After first 3 months. Job Overview The Business Applications Specialist plays a key role in optimizing and supporting Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Power Platform solutions. This position is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and enhancing business applications to meet evolving operational needs. The specialist collaborates with stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement system improvements, and ensure seamless integration across platforms. They provide technical support, training, and documentation to maximize user adoption and efficiency, while proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and drive business value. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective application solutions within D365 CE and Power Platform. Configure, customize, and maintain D365 CE, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and related tools to support evolving operational needs. Implement workflows, business rules, and automation to enhance user efficiency and data quality. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working with technical teams as needed. Monitor application performance and usage, recommending enhancements for efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain documentation for application processes, configurations, and workflows. Ensure all integrations and applications comply with internal security standards, data protection laws, and compliance requirements. Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers for application support, upgrades, and integrations. Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations to improve application performance. Identify process inefficiencies and propose solutions using Power Platform tools. Provide end-user support, training, and guidance to maximize effective use of D365 CE and Power Platform solutions. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to D365 CE and Power Platform. Experience Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, data science, or a related field. Experience as a Business Applications Specialist, Dynamics 365 CE Administrator, Power Platform Developer, or similar role. Strong proficiency in configuring, managing, and supporting D365 CE and Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). Hands‑on experience with D365 Business Central, SharePoint, or other ERP systems is a plus. Knowledge of C#, AL, JavaScript, Power Fx is an asset. Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and presenting insights to non‑technical audiences. Detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
