2026 CFO, Summer Benchmarking Strategy and Model Analytics (4 Months) Position: Summer internship in Benchmarking Strategy & Model Analytics team, part of Capital Markets & Treasury Services Performance Management at RBC. What is the opportunity? In this role you will deliver value‑add inputs and support for developing model frameworks that help finance leaders enhance forecasting, financial planning and data strategy across the group and broader RBC enterprise. The ultimate goal is a future state where business forecasts are supported by bottom‑up macroeconomic data and models, with real‑time decision support and scenario analysis tied to macro indicators. What will you do? Provide oversight and collaboration across teams, delivering detailed data and analysis to improve reporting processes. Build a thorough knowledge of key Capital Markets businesses and financial reporting processes. Enable advanced analytic capabilities supporting advisory functions to senior management and front office, including development of financial models, data inventories and dashboards. What do you need to succeed? Must‑have Ability to convert financial data into clear messaging with actionable advice. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, high initiative. Solid data engineering and manipulation experience. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (VBA) and PowerPoint. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Nice‑to‑have Programming experience in R or Python. Programming experience in SQL. Knowledge of Capital Markets businesses. Eligibility Returning student after work term end‑date, or Non‑returning student immediately graduating after work term requiring the full term as mandatory.
