Technology Business Consultant Senior – FIS Join FIS as a senior technology business consultant. Your role will focus on delivering innovative, fintech solutions across a global portfolio of clients. Type of Hire: Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired: Bachelor of Computer Science Position Type: Full time About the role As a Technology Business Consultant, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance financial solutions, leveraging automation, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and maintain Ansible Automation (Tower/AWX) Develop, test, and version‑control reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Collections Write robust UNIX shell scripts to automate ad‑hoc and scheduled tasks Build and operate CLI‑based tooling (Git, kubectl/oc, Helm, Docker/Podman, AWS/Azure CLIs, etc.) Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure delivery Manage artifact repositories (Helm charts, Docker images, generic files) in Artifactory Administer GitHub orgs, repos, webhooks, and branch protection Integrate APIs, third‑party services, and internal modules to ensure seamless functionality Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high‑quality releases and continuous improvement Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions Qualifications Proficiency in C/C++ programming, UNIX environments, and business logic modeling Experience with Oracle/DB2/PostgreSQL Solid grasp of TCP/IP, SSH, DNS, load‑balancing, and storage concepts Strong Git skills and GitOps experience Hands‑on with at least one CI/CD platform in production Fluent in writing and debugging shell scripts Experience with enterprise‑grade systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs Experience publishing and consuming artifacts (charts/images/files) in Artifactory Python or Go for custom Ansible modules or CLI scripting (Nice to Have) Terraform/Pulumi for IaC (Nice to Have) Container orchestration (OpenShift, EKS, AKS) (Nice to Have) Monitoring/alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, DX‑APM) and centralized logging (Splunk/Elastic Search) (Nice to Have) Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) (Nice to Have) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent practical experience Deep knowledge in payments or banking back‑office systems (Nice to Have) Knowledge of ISO 8583 (Nice to Have) Benefits Flexible and creative work environment Diverse and collaborative atmosphere Professional and personal development resources Opportunities to volunteer and support charities Competitive salary and benefits Note: Current and future sponsorship are not available for this position.
