The Care Company is looking for a motivated and reliable Physiotherapist Assistant (PTA) to join our community-based rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping clients remain safe, mobile, and independent in their own homes. You will work under the supervision and direction of a Registered Physiotherapist and support clients across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. Key Responsibilities Implement physiotherapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist Support clients with exercises, mobility training, strengthening programs, gait training, balance retraining, and functional mobility tasks Reinforce home exercise programs and ensure clients perform exercises safely and correctly Monitor and document client progress, observations, and responses to treatment (with PT review and oversight) Assist with transfer training, safe lifting techniques, and mobility aid usage Provide caregiver education and support for PT-directed care strategies Assist with basic equipment setup, environmental safety recommendations, and home visit follow-up tasks Maintain appropriate communication with supervising PT, office staff, and interdisciplinary team members Travel to client homes across the GTA and maintain flexibility as caseload changes Requirements Scheduling Requirements Flexible part‑time schedule (Monday‑Friday). Occasional Saturday/Sunday availability based on client needs. Must be able to complete an initial in‑person home assessment within 24 hours of receiving a visit request. Clients are located across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.
