Dir. princ., Gouvernance et Contrôles TD – Toronto, Ontario, Canada Description Du Poste TD OneFinance, Governance, Risk and Control (GRC or 1B) endeavours to enable and support Treasury partners to identify, understand, manage and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to internal and regulatory requirements. This role provides strategic guidance and oversight of Treasury’s risk‑management programs and controls, including financial reporting controls. Department Overview We provide training, monitoring, testing and best‑practice advice to Treasury, oversee policies governing financial reporting, and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion and community engagement. Job Details Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours: 37.5 hours per week Sector: Gouvernance et Contrôles Compensation: $108,800 – $163,200 CAD (base salary; variable and benefits available) In This Role, You Will Provide oversight, testing and reporting of Treasury’s key risk programs (operational risk, EUC Governance, Model Risk Management, Risk and Control Self‑Assessment, etc.) Lead development of tailored communication and training on enterprise risk programs. Implement quality control/assurance of controls supporting business risk, control and issuer owners. Identify interdependencies across risk programs and manage remediation plans. Review key risk indicators and develop related reporting for Treasury. Manage and update GRC mandate, standards, policies and procedures. Advise Treasury and stakeholders on effective control considerations and policy compliance. Partner with other teams and lines of defense to oversee design and testing of controls. Promote a risk‑aware culture of accountability, ethics and integrity. Enable proactive, data‑driven, risk‑based decision making. Build and lead a team of risk and control professionals, coaching them to success. Deliver innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance risk‑control execution. Job Requirements Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CISA, CFA) or equivalent. University degree in business, accounting or related field. 10+ years of treasury, audit or internal control experience. Experience in Treasury, public accounting or other relevant domains preferred. Demonstrated ability to influence change, develop effective relationships and manage within a matrixed environment. Skill in assessing or testing design and operating effectiveness of financial reporting controls. Strong written and verbal communication; ability to simplify complex concepts. Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing Treasury (prudential, liquidity, funding, market risk, capital). Leadership, planning and project management skills to manage cross‑functional teams. Motivation to improve processes and leverage data and technology. Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, agile environment with multiple priorities.
