About the Role Reporting to the Director, HR Applications, Brookfield Renewable is seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst with experience in Workday to join our team. The Business Analyst will play a key role in the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday, supporting a range of modules including Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, and Payroll (Canada and U.S.). This is a hands‑on opportunity to shape our HRIS landscape and deliver seamless functionality across the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide functional and technical support throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle, including design, testing, and deployment. Post‑implementation, configure and maintain Workday modules in alignment with evolving business needs. Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Conduct system testing, validation, and maintain comprehensive documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday‑related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Monitor Workday releases and assess impacts on existing configurations. Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guides. Support reporting and integrations as required. Knowledge and Experience Required 3+ years of hands‑on Workday configuration experience. Deep understanding of HR processes and expertise in one or more Workday modules: Core HCM, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Canadian and U.S. Payroll. Strong grasp of Workday business process framework and security model. Experience with EIBs, calculated fields, and condition rules. Proven experience in cross‑border payroll configuration (Canada/U.S.) and familiarity with U.S. benefits and collective agreements. Background in HRIS or enterprise systems implementation. Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business needs into system and operational requirements. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization. Workday certification(s) in relevant modules is a strong asset. A degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. Note: Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Brookfield’s identity.
