Role & Responsibilities - How You'll Make an Impact:
- Ensure the maintenance and improvement of our operations in a context of agility, while identifying opportunities for improvement, with the aim of increasing our operational and quality performance, as well as reducing and eliminating health and safety issues;
- Design and optimize workstation layouts, work methods and tooling by implementing value-added production initiatives in collaboration with various departments;
- Improve operational excellence in line with best business practices, Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma approaches to processes and technical issues, in order to identify opportunities for improvement and suggest ways forward;
- Contribute to the strategy and development of sequences, assembly methods, standard times and balancing of operations with a view to operational excellence;
DEC in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience,
3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment and good understanding of mechanical and electrical assembly concepts,
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and concepts, VSM, Kaizen methodology, DMAIC, etc,
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and contribute as part of a team.
