We'd like you to join us as a Senior Support Worker at our service Prospect Court in Sutton. At Prospect Court, we provide our people with the support they need in their homes, helping to promote independence and maintain a high standard of both physical and mental wellbeing. What you'll be working: Your hours are based on a rota working every other weekend. 42 hours What you'll be doing: Provide direct care and support as part of a multi‑disciplinary team Assist the nursing team with the assessment of individual's needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care Work and act as a key member of the team, supporting each patient in achievement of their planned outcomes Undertake clinical work‑related tasks as delegated by senior nursing staff, following appropriate training and assessment of competency Maintain accurate, legible records of care provided, based upon the care plan Be actively involved in meeting own and team objectives through encouraging and supporting others Develop and maintain good working relationships with residents, their families, colleagues and any relevant professionals What you'll have: A genuine interest in providing the best person‑centred care possible A NVQ in Health and Social care from Level 3 onwards is desirable Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
