Public sector experience is mandatory
1-2 years experience as PM

What will I be doing?
Envisions project scope of work, initiates, prepares and presents for execution, and terms of reference
Performs complete start to close-out project management on selected complex, high-risk projects as required to meet corporate commitments, with or without staff delegation
Reviews and approves draft Project Charter documents
Coordinates a number of complex projects under pressure
Develops and updates existing policies, procedures, and various manuals
Project management experience to manage assigned projects of high value and complexity and supervise staff engaged in all stages of project management from start to close-out
Organizational, interpersonal and oral/written/presentation communication skills to coordinate complex projects under pressure
Develops frameworks to turn policies and programs into implementation
Manages projects independently and with the support of internal teams to deliver on strategic objectives
Leads the development of reports, briefing notes and discussion papers, and presents policy briefings to senior management to respond to complex and politically sensitive issues
Builds partnerships throughout Metrolinx to strengthen corporate alignment between business unit activities and French Language Services objectives
