We are seeking a technically proficient and enthusiastic Java/Scala Developer to join the Distributed Risk Storage team. This team is responsible for developing high-performance libraries and components for storing, retrieving, and processing extremely large volumes of data generated across tens of thousands of grid engines in both private data centers and public cloud environments. The role involves building a scalable, secure, and cost-effective custom data platform that adheres to strict standards around encryption, access controls, data lineage, and retention.Job Responsibilities:Design and develop new and existing components using Scala and JavaContribute to all phases of the product lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and deploymentCollaborate across multiple time zones in an agile team environmentPartner closely with internal developers to understand system requirements and deliver robust solutionsSuggest and implement improvements to existing systems and development processesTake ownership of specific system components and their maintenanceEnsure quality through unit testing and proper documentation practicesRequired Skills:Proficiency in Scala and/or Java (or strong expertise in other languages such as C++ or Python)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsSolid understanding of core computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, concurrency, etc.)Experience working in large-scale or enterprise-level systemsTechnical curiosity and a drive to continuously learn and improvePreferred Skills:Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestrationBackground in distributed systems or low-level system developmentFamiliarity with code optimization and performance tuning techniquesComfort working with large data sets and high-throughput applicationsPrior experience in financial services or risk management (a plus, but not required)Email ID * This field is required Please enter valid emailId.Cell phone * This field is required Please enter valid cell phone.First Name * This field is required Please enter valid first name.Last Name * This field is required Please enter valid last name. #J-18808-Ljbffr
