Role description Arcadis Vancouver office is looking for a Healthcare Architect to join our team. You will work in a highly qualified team of healthcare architects, medical planners and interior designers on a variety of healthcare projects in BC, as well as across Canada and USA. This position provides the professional an opportunity to work with collaborative teams throughout various project stages delivering innovative healthcare solutions for our clients. Role accountabilities Working individually or part of a larger team depending on the size of the project to complete feasibility studies, development permit applications, building permit applications and contract documents for tender Meeting with clients and representing the firm at various working groups and preparing presentation materials Participating in the contract administration phase of the work and administering the construction contract on behalf of the client including performing field reviews, reviewing shop drawings and responding to RFI Working collaboratively as part of a project team consisting of job captains and intern architects, as required based on the type and size of project Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in architectural field Experience working on non-acute and acute health care projects Licensed architect in BC Detailed understanding of all phases of project delivery and delivery models such as Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build and Construction Management Knowledge of applicable CSA standards, building codes and construction details Advanced Revit skills are a requirement Excellent communication skills are a requirement Local experience is a requirement Why Arcadis We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. The salary range for this position is $89,000-$134,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position.
