Provide executive leadership in the formation, build-out, and operational launch of the company, establishing its organizational structure, operating model, and nuclear-ready infrastructure.Develop and execute enterprise operational strategies aligned with corporate objectives, profitability targets, and long-term growth, while embedding nuclear quality and compliance requirements from inception.Partner with the executive leadership team to define the company’s nuclear strategy, risk posture, and long range manufacturing and supply chain roadmap.Lead the development of foundational governance, policies, and controls required for a regulated nuclear organization.Nuclear Operations & Program ManagementDesign, implement, and oversee nuclear-qualified operational systems, procedures, and work controls that meet or exceed nuclear requirements.Establish fully compliant programs for manufacturing, engineering support, supply chain, procurement, logistics, maintenance, and asset reliability.Oversee day-to-day operations while ensuring strict adherence to procedural compliance, configuration management, document control, and traceability.Define and manage performance metrics including throughput, schedule adherence, cost control, quality performance, and on-time delivery within a nuclear-regulated environment.Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) in a manner fully compliant with nuclear quality assurance standards.Quality Assurance, Compliance & Nuclear Safety CultureEstablish, own, and maintain the company’s Nuclear Assurance Program, including policies, procedures, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.Ensure compliance with all nuclear codes and standards, customer nuclear requirements, and applicable regulatory expectations.Champion a strong nuclear safety culture emphasizing accountability, procedural discipline, conservative decision-making, and continuous improvement.Lead internal and external audits, supplier qualifications, surveillance activities, and customer or regulatory assessments.Oversee corrective action programs, root cause analysis, and preventive actions to address quality or compliance issues.Supply Chain & Supplier QualificationBuild and qualify a nuclear-approved supply chain, ensuring suppliers meet all relevant requirements for quality, traceability, and documentation.Establish supplier evaluation, auditing, and performance monitoring programs consistent with nuclear procurement standards.Ensure material control, commercial grade dedication (as applicable), and records retention meet nuclear regulatory and customer requirements.Cross-Enterprise & Stakeholder CollaborationCollaborate closely with sister companies, joint ventures, and strategic partners to align nuclear operational strategies and share best practices.Serve as a senior operational interface with customers, auditors, and industry stakeholders to build credibility and trust in the company’s nuclear capabilities.Identify opportunities to leverage shared services, systems, and expertise while maintaining compliance integrity.People Leadership & Organizational Build-OutRecruit, lead, and develop a high-performing leadership team, including plant managers, program managers, quality, engineering, and operations leaders.Build the organization’s workforce, competencies, and training programs to support nuclear qualification and long-term sustainability.Embed a culture of safety, accountability, engagement, and excellence from the earliest stages of company formation.Establish succession planning and leadership development aligned with future growth.Financial & Commercial LeadershipDevelop and manage operational budgets, capital investments, and start-up cost controls required to establish nuclear-qualified facilities and systems.Provide regular reporting to the executive team on operational readiness, compliance status, KPIs, and financial performance.Support customer acquisition and contract execution by ensuring operational readiness and nuclear qualification.Partner with Sales and Business Development to expand existing accounts and secure new nuclear contracts.Participate in key customer engagements, facility tours, audits, and executive presentations to demonstrate operational maturity and compliance.Innovation, Scalability & GrowthEvaluate and implement new technologies, automation, and digital quality systems that enhance compliance, productivity, and scalability.Ensure operations are designed to scale in support of new programs, customers, and markets without compromising nuclear requirements.Lead operational readiness for new product lines, facility expansions, and future nuclear program qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
