Role Description We are looking for a skilled, G2‑certified HVAC professional to take a lead role in residential installation projects across Toronto. The individual must also be interested in project coordination and onsite supervision of the construction projects. This position requires both exceptional hands‑on technical skills and proven project management capability. Compensation: $30 – $40 per hour Qualifications Ideal – 2 years of professional experience in residential HVAC installation. TSSA G2 Gas Technician Certificate (required to work on gas‑fired appliances up to 400,000 BTUH). HVAC Heating and Cooling Certificate (e.g., Residential Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic 313D or equivalent trade certification/experience). Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driving record. Key Responsibilities (Technical & Installation) Perform complete residential HVAC installations (furnaces, A/C, heat pumps, etc.) for new construction and retrofit projects. Ensure all work meets TSSA regulations, the Ontario Building Code, and manufacturer specifications. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues during installation and commissioning. Complete all job-related paperwork, permits, and start‑up reports accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities (Coordination & Management) Oversee construction timelines, coordinating with builders and other trades. Act as the on‑site leader, managing and supervising other trades personnel and specialized sub‑trades. Direct and work alongside labourers, organising tasks such as material staging and site preparation. Proactively manage project schedules and deadlines. Maintain the highest standards of workmanship and perform final quality checks on all installed systems.
