Through hands‑on leadership, coaching, and strong operational support, you’ll ensure our team is always ready to serve with confidence and care. Here are some of the other ways you’ll help us stand out:Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.Greet, engage, process, and bag customer purchases, collecting accurate tenders using Farm Boy Customer Service Standards.Supervise the front-end team and provide floor support by delegating tasks, coordinating meal breaks, completing 2x2’s, and ensuring daily readiness for business.Support a culture of trust and inclusion by providing hands‑on training and coaching focused on floor operations, service standards, and service excellence.Assist the management team with opening and closing procedures, overrides, cart retrieval, cash‑office balancing, and handling returns and refunds.Support front‑office administration, including inventory management, supply ordering, and schedule adjustments.Delegate tasks to ensure timely and effective completion of closing procedures.Assist with the safe handling and sale of alcohol at applicable locations (Smart Serve certification required or willingness to obtain).Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.Support the team with additional duties on a periodic basis.QualificationsWhat you bring to the table.We provide the opportunity, and you bring the potential.A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.Partial completion of a post‑secondary program plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.The ability to work independently while taking pride in exceptional quality, attention to detail, and strong cleanliness standards.For locations selling alcohol: minimum age of 18 years and Smart Serve certification (or willingness to complete).Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy when processing transactions and handling tenders.A collaborative leadership style supported by clear and effective organizational and communication skills.Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.What we bring to the table.At Farm Boy, we believe in supporting our Team Members throughout their careers.
