Key Responsibilities
• Apply coding classification standards to medical documentation
• Submit provider queries for documentation discrepancies
• Perform quality assessments of medical records
• Research and resolve errors in coding processes
• Abstract and assign appropriate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes
Requirements:
• AHIMA/AAPC Credentials required
• Minimum three years of coding experience
• Inpatient and surgical coding expertise needed
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to maintain a 95% QA accuracy rate Utilize your coding skills to support independent hospitals' missions with Ovation Healthcare’s remote team.
