Type: 2-month contract, Possibility of Extension and Full Time HireLocation: Remote (Must reside in Calgary)Starts: February 2nd, 2026Role Overview:The Enterprise Architect (EA) is a senior, strategic, and client-facing technical leader responsible for enabling successful business transformation across cloud, data, security, infrastructure, and modernization initiatives at Insight Canada.This role blends hands-on architectural delivery, strategic advisory, presales collaboration, and technical leadership into a single, integrated mandate. As Insight’s senior-most technical advisor on complex client programs, the Enterprise Architect plays a critical role in shaping client direction, guiding delivery teams, ensuring architectural integrity, and elevating the quality of both client outcomes and internal capabilities.Core ResponsibilitiesStrategic Advisory & Enterprise ArchitectureBuild trusted, executive-level relationships and advise clients on cloud, data, security, and modernization strategies.Lead discovery sessions and workshops to clarify business objectives and translate them into scalable, actionable architectural solutions.Define enterprise architecture direction, guardrails, and decision frameworks across large programs.Develop clear, pragmatic architectural artifacts, including roadmaps, future-state architectures, and standards.Deliver billable consulting and advisory services aligned to client needs and business outcomes.Delivery Leadership & ExecutionLead and deliver large-scale cloud, security, data, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.Provide hands-on architectural leadership across design, build, and deployment phases.Guide cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, quality, and architectural consistency.Partner with Program and Project Management to proactively identify risks and maintain delivery coherence across multiple workstreams.Support presales activities, including opportunity shaping, technical discovery, solution architecture, and SOW development.Collaborate with sales, solution architects, and practice leaders to design compelling, executable solutions.Contribute to the development of reusable frameworks, architecture templates, and intellectual property.Mentor architects and consultants, strengthening technical capability across Insight’s services practices.Experience & SkillsTechnical ExpertiseBroad experience architecting enterprise-scale solutions across cloud, data platforms, application modernization, integration, infrastructure, networking, and security.Deep expertise in one or more of the following areas:Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS)Data and AI platformsDatacenter, infrastructure, and networkingDevOps and platform engineeringEndpoint modernization and securityConsulting & Advisory CapabilitiesStrong ability to navigate ambiguity and influence executive-level decision-making.Proven success leading architecture on large, multi-workstream transformation programs.Exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills with strong executive presence.Delivery & Business AcumenDeep understanding of enterprise delivery models, governance, and risk management.Ability to balance hands-on architecture with strategic advisory and internal leadership responsibilities.Strong familiarity with presales and solution development processes.What Success Looks LikeDelivers meaningful, measurable impact on client transformation initiatives.Improves delivery quality and architectural consistency across engagements.Strengthens Insight’s presales capabilities through credible technical leadership.Develops reusable methodologies and frameworks that benefit the broader organization.Acts as a trusted advisor, mentor, and role model for architects and consultants.Builds long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and internal teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
