Our Cyber Security team in the Ontario & Atlantic regions is looking for a senior professional with the skills and drive to make a real difference. As a Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with clients across industries to assess cyber maturity, design tailored governance frameworks, and implement strategic roadmaps that align cybersecurity with business objectives. You’ll play a key role in shaping how organizations anticipate, respond to, and recover from cyber‑threats. What You Will DoConduct cyber maturity assessments and cyber risk assessments using a variety of methodologies and frameworksDevelop and evaluate cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, and target operating modelsDraft and support the implementation of cybersecurity roadmapsAnalyze cybersecurity costs to identify optimization opportunitiesAssess the organizational capabilities of cybersecurity teamsEstablish cybersecurity control frameworks and perform control testing to assess design, implementation, and operating effectivenessWrite cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines tailored to organizational requirementsDevelop cybersecurity metrics and benchmarking toolsDesign strategic cybersecurity dashboards to support executive decision‑makingDeliver advisory services to address business and IT risksReport on cybersecurity risks for a diverse range of audiencesSupport clients with cyber training and awareness initiativesDevelop, facilitate, and participate in cybersecurity tabletop exercisesCreate and deliver presentations to communicate findings and recommendationsContribute to business development efforts, including RFP responses and proposal supportDevelop and deliver cyber resilience plans and related materials to reduce operational impacts What You Bring To The Role3–5 years of experience working on cybersecurity projects or activitiesBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical training (preferred)MBA or master’s degree (an asset)Certification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CIA, or other relevant designations (an asset)Familiarity with cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 27005, ISO 19011, and NISTExperience in consulting or across various industry sectors (an asset)Strong understanding of industry sectors and business environments (an asset)Highly motivated, committed self‑starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and succeed in fast‑paced environmentsExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinkingStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholdersHigh degree of personal confidence, enthusiasm, and driveWillingness and ability to travel within Canada and internationallyClient‑oriented mindset with a commitment to high‑quality, timely delivery Adjustments and Accommodations Throughout the Recruitment ProcessAt KPMG, we are committed to fostering an inclusive recruitment process where all candidates can be themselves and excel.
