The Ad sales team is responsible for the advertising vision, development and growth of our largest advertising partnerships. This is a newly created team, seeking founding members to build an industry-leading ads and promotions business across DoorDash’s core categories, starting with CPG brands. The growing DoorDash ads business will quickly become the single best place for merchants and brands to market to local customers, in an ecosystem that benefits all parties.About the RoleAs a Partnerships Manager, you will build partnerships that create tangible value for both DoorDash and advertisers. In this role, you will manage the ads strategy across a focused portfolio of accounts, and drive adoption of our growing ads and promotions offering. You will also work cross-functionally with business development, marketing, strategy & operations, analytics, and product to innovate on our future approach and solutions.You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…Be part of the growing DoorDash Ads & Promos teamLead end-to-end marketing conversations across a portfolio of consumer packaged goods (CPG) advertisersOversee the strategy for engaging with and selling to our largest partnersSteer the development, adoption and scaling of CPG revenueDrive product/feature adoption, and ultimately grow advertiser value and sustainable revenue for DoorDashRepresent advertiser needs to influence our Ads & Promos product roadmap and go to market strategyManage a robust sales pipeline and create annual and quarterly plans to achieve ambitious goalsCo-develop pitch materials and processes to enable future scale of the team and businessDevelop long-term business plans alongside our partners for their multi-channel customer strategiesMaintain pitch decks and sales content to help produce new business opportunitiesCreate marketing campaigns; own post-campaign reportingWork with partners across DoorDash to align companywide resources to help build-out our partners' digital businessesMentor and manage account managersWe’re excited about you because…Have 6+ years of experience working in an account management roleYou have 3+ years leading teams and people managementYou’re an expert in using data and insights to inform recommendations, rooted in advertiser objectives and business prioritiesYou know the basics of digital ads measurement - from attribution to funnel metricsYou have strong written/verbal communication and presentations skills, and experience operating across several levels of an organizationYou diligently manage a sales pipeline and can juggle both short- and mid-term impactYou're a builder at heart, passionate about creating processes, laying strong foundations, and developing playbooks.Impact Motivated -- You have a natural desire to improve the overall businessCurious -- You love digging into low levels of detail to extract insightsStrategic -- You love to find the win-win in novel agreement structures to grow business with partnersDiverse -- You are happy juggling many priorities concurrentlyBachelor's degree required, MBA or Masters Degree a plusBusiness Development and/or Partnerships experienceExperience with Analytics and Presentation toolsYou have proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Snowflake, Sigma, etc.)Notice to Applicants for Jobs Located in NYC or Remote Jobs Associated With Office in NYC OnlyWe use Covey as part of our hiring and/or promotional process for jobs in NYC and certain features may qualify it as an AEDT in NYC. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission.
