Job Overview Oversee the credit and collections function and interface with sales leadership to manage customer financial relationships. Lead a team of Credit and Collection analysts and provide managerial support for credit reviews, past‑due collections, and escalation to minimize credit loss risk. Responsibilities Oversee daily processes: posting, reconciliation of invoices, cash receipts, and respond to client invoicing/payments requests. Act as primary or secondary approver for credit decisions within specified limits and coordinate with Senior Director, Finance, and CFO for higher‑level decisions. Manage credit/ship holds, doubtful accounts, receivables insurance and other loss mitigation tactics; link transactional analysts with strategic decision‑making. Oversee month‑end processes: balance reconciliations, statement preparation, bank deposits, and reporting to executive leadership. Review, develop, and implement efficient Order to Cash cycle processes while maintaining audit controls and authorizations. Establish collaborative relationships with key departments: Order Management, Order Admin, Tax and Compliance, Sales, and Services. Provide regular coaching, performance reviews, and staff recruitment as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Business Administration. 2‑5 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, preferably in Accounts Receivable or Payable. Good working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS). Experience with accounting software (LINKED is an asset). Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel. Strong analytical, logical thinking, and communication skills. Professional communication skills and ability to explain financial concepts to peers and management. Attention to detail, compliance with financial regulations. Bonus Points Experience in Broadcast industry or High‑Tech, Software Products or Manufacturing organization.
