If you love working as a team and want to help Make Life Better for our guests and our communities, then we want you to join us We are currently seeking a Distribution Supervisor for our Winnipeg Distribution Centre located at 230 Panet Road. As a Distribution Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising and training the distribution team members to meet the company’s strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. As The Distribution Supervisor You Will Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in the daily warehouse operations. Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the assigned distribution team members. Observe health and safety regulations while maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition. Maintain warehouse and machinery, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed, and the workspace is kept clean and tidy. Manage and facilitate the inbound/outbound operations of the Distribution Centre and other off-site storage facilities when required. Demonstrate the company’s values in all aspects of work performance. Success Metrics Effectively plan, organize and participate in daily warehouse activities. Optimize training, supervising and evaluation of team member performance. Ensure health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse, including ensuring machinery and equipment are properly maintained and serviced. Manage and facilitate inbound/outbound operations efficiently, including off-site storage when required. Core Competencies Previous management experience in a distribution-oriented environment. Effective decision making, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to build high-performing work teams. Direct and motivate subordinates in a dynamic work environment. Customer-focused. Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs. Work Parameters Flexible work schedules to meet the requirements of the operation. On call 24/7 for emergencies.
