We're building a thriving organization that's purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.As a Assurance Manager [Non-Audit], Privately Held Business Group your responsibilities will include:Collaborating with colleagues to deliver exceptional client serviceLeading the coaching and performance management/development for direct reports through goal-setting, providing guidance, regular and timely feedback, and learning opportunities for professional developmentParticipating in recruitment process (candidate interviews, assessment, and selection decisions)Planning, leading and executing client engagements under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors; ensuring client needs and expectations are clearly understood and communicated, and exceptional service is providedManaging the work assignment and performance of engagement team members and being accountable for the outcomeAnalysis and review of corporate and personal income tax returns, NTRs and ReviewsProactive problem solving with engagement teams and clientsApplying strategies for delivering profitable services and influencing personal, client and practice area key performance indicators; maximizing engagement profitability through effective utilization of resourcesBeing a leader in the Firm by actively sharing leadership for Doane Grant Thornton culture and contributing to business plan development and executionIdentifying and supporting new business opportunities by understanding the Firm, its service lines, and client relationshipsBuilding of our reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of our growing practiceOther duties as requiredDoane Grant ThorntonIf you're a bit like us, you're driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. To get the conversation started, we're happy to share that our current base salary for this role ranges from $79,000-$90,000 in Kamloops, BC.
