Rose du Lac and Laurier, Manitoba locations, you will play a key role in supporting two close-knit communities where relationships and local knowledge matter. Ste. Rose du Lac is a small but vibrant lakeside community, while Laurier is a tight-knit rural village with deep agricultural and cultural roots; together, the branches serve a wider regional trading area made up of surrounding farms, cottages, and neighboring rural communities who rely on accessible, relationship-focused service. You will play a pivotal role in leading your branch team to deliver excellent member experiences, grow meaningful relationships, and help shape our branch’s way forward — all while being supported by a progressive, collaborative organization. How You’ll Work With Your Team Lead, mentor, and inspire staff — helping them grow professionally Co-create branch goals and strategy, contribute to business planning, and drive branch performance Oversee daily operations, ensure compliance, and maintain accuracy, efficiency, and risk controls Provide sound lending advice, assessing credit needs, and supporting personal, agricultural, and small business lending. Collaborate across Sunrise (lending, operations, marketing, etc.) to deliver seamless product and service offerings Engage with the local community — representing Sunrise, building partnerships, and fostering trust Monitor branch metrics (loans, deposits, member growth, profitability) and use data to guide decision-making and member engagement Identify opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and member‑centric enhancements What You Bring to Sunrise Leadership experience in banking, credit union, or similar financial institution Strong coaching, communication, and decision‑making skills A passion for community engagement and relationship banking Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance‑driven environment Ability to think both strategically and tactically (Preferred) Credit union education/designation (e.g. CUIC), and proven track record in branch or financial services What You’ll Receive from Sunrise A supportive environment where your voice and ideas are valued Opportunities for continuous learning, internal mobility, and leadership development Tools, training, and empowerment to lead your branch and grow your impact A chance to make real difference at the grassroots level — with community, membership, and team Competitive compensation salary reflective of your experience, scope of leadership and community impact.
