Job Description We are seeking an experienced and reliable Drywall Installer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will work at various job sites, installing and finishing drywall for interior walls and ceilings. This role requires frequent travel to different work locations and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a dusty construction environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists Apply successive coats of joint compound and sand seams and joints Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using trowels and broad knives Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coats when required Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry between applications Clean and prepare surfaces before installation and finishing Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools Install acoustic tiles, suspended ceiling systems, hangers, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow workplace health and safety regulations #J-18808-Ljbffr
