8-10+ years working in a electrical substation environment Strong experience working within substations and/or the utility/power space Hands-on experience testing high-voltage electrical equipment Experience performing testing on equipment such as:
Transformers Breakers CTs PTs Transfer switches Other substation/high-voltage equipment
Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering bachelors degree, preferably with a power-focused background Comfortable travelling throughout Ontario and being onsite daily Reliable and comfortable operating in a demanding, field-based environment NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Protection relay testing experience SCADA testing experience Broader protection and control systems experience Strong exposure to commissioning, maintenance, and metering in addition to testing Artificial intelligence tools are used to assist in screening and assessing applicants for this position.
