As an Analyst/Associate, Institutional Client Experience, you will serve as a member of our dynamic and high-performing client facing team working in collaboration with the Institutional Asset Management team in the delivery of customized client solutions. You’ll be responsible for the management and completion of proposals.The work arrangement details (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75,870 to $104,320. The base salary is determined by factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. We are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation opportunities for all employees and encourage open conversation about compensation throughout the recruitment process.How You’ll SucceedInvestment Management Proposals – Under the supervision of Director, Institutional Client Experience, contribute to the client solutioning process in completing customized Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Information (RFIs), and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs). Determine requirements for successful proposal submission. Coordinate proposal huddles to determine deliverables and deadlines, keep stakeholders accountable with their assigned deliverables. Populate, write, proofread, edit and format proposal content; adapt existing content and boilerplates (in consultation with leadership) to ensure a cohesive proposal. Ensure each proposal submission is submitted within the established deadline. Plan follow ups and review sessions, and work with the assigned leader to successfully complete proposals. Collaborate with Institutional Asset Management team on complex proposals to determine strategy.Database Content Maintenance – Under supervision, update qualitative content and review quantitative content in global investment management databases (e.g., eVestment); assist in maintaining proposal resources including boilerplate content, executive summaries, and asset descriptions.Responsible for completing client deliverables – Under supervision, complete client deliverables efficiently and ensure service standards, policies and procedures are consistently applied. Deliverables include recurring and ad-hoc client requests, compliance and due diligence questionnaires from clients, and ad-hoc client support.Continuous Improvement Spirit – Collaborate with the institutional team on ad-hoc continuous improvement projects, including operational and technological business improvements to achieve efficiencies and improve the overall client experience.Asset class knowledge – Support the creation of asset class materials for the institutional client audience, including client presentations, pitchbooks, commentaries, and other ad-hoc projects for clients and prospective clients.Cross-functional relationships – Communicate with external consultants, clients and prospective clients for information requests; participate in client/consultant/prospective client meetings. Interact with all functional areas of the firm on a regular basis.Who You AreYou are client focused. You promote the client experience, build trust in managing relationships, demonstrate sound judgement and problem-solving abilities, and can make key complex decisions independently. You are an organized multi-tasker who can prioritize in a dynamic, high-paced environment to understand clients and strategies.You have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance and/or Data Science. CFA or CIM designations are preferred. You have demonstrated strong interests in markets and investment management.You have experience with traditional and alternative investment solutions, with 2-3 years in the investment industry across major asset classes. You understand most asset classes and institutional clients. You are bilingual; fluency in French is an asset but not required. You are an experienced, self-motivated investment professional with a reputation for excellence, intellectual curiosity, and a strong work ethic. You have strong technical skills, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bloomberg; experience using databases such as eVestment is an asset.You influence outcomes by sharing expertise and communicating clearly. You are a strong verbal and written communicator and can connect with a wide variety of institutional clients; you can persuade diverse groups to align to common goals with the ability to communicate up, down and across the organization.You are motivated by collective success and teamwork.
