Your Opportunity Raymond Laboratory/X-ray department is located in the Raymond Health Care Centre and serves the town as well as its surrounding area. Raymond Alberta is located 30 minutes from Lethbridge Alberta and 1 hour from the Coutts, Montana border. The Raymond location is staffed with an experienced team of Laboratory and X-ray professionals and Medical Laboratory Assistants that offer strong patient‑focused service to their community. Description As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results. Classification: Laboratory Assistant I Union: HSAA FAC PROF/TECH Unit and Program: Laboratory Primary Location: Raymond Health Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi‑Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.60 Posting End Date: 17‑DEC‑2025 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 05‑JAN‑2026 Temporary End Date: 31‑JUL‑2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per Cycle: 6 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $23.72 Maximum Salary: $29.56 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
