SpaceBridge Inc. is currently looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join our team in Montreal, QC. In this position, the incumbent works as part of a team involved in the development of embedded software for satellite return link subsystems, satellite modems, and integrated satellite hub communication equipment. The chosen candidate will be required to work on new and innovative products in the field of Satellite Communications.Responsibilities:Real-time design and development using high-level programmingDesigning innovative products in the IP networking domainImplement best practices of software developmentKnowledge of Linux kernel programming a plusKnowledge of satellite communications a definite assetSupport preparation of Technology RoadmapGuide, coach, and mentor software development engineersCollaborate with PLM on requirement definitionsMonitor task progressProvide task transparency to the top managementSupport other teamsRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering as a minimumMinimum 5 years experience in a similar roleExpert level knowledge of Linux, and networkingExpert level knowledge of C/C++Strong experience in low-level system developmentStrong analytical skillsExcellent documentation and communication skillsAbility and desire to learn new technologiesAbility to work very well in a team environmentAbility to work on sophisticated projects without daily supervision #J-18808-Ljbffr
